Sherpa Blanket — 'Service Rendered Does Not Negate Humanity' Military Tribute Throw

SERVICE RENDERED DOES NOT NEGATE HUMANITY. Behind the uniform is still a person. Service Rendered is a People’s Stories by R ooti reflection on something that can become easy to overlook: the will, training, discipline, and commitment required to serve and defend a country do not remove the humanity of the person serving. This women-focused presentation brings another part of that human experience into view—the woman within the service, alongside the relationships, responsibilities, memories, and everyday life that continue beyond the uniform. Beyond the uniform. Beyond the duty. Still human. Designed as both a functional Sherpa blanket and a reflective artifact, the artwork brings this reminder into an everyday space—whether kept for yourself or given in recognition of someone who has served or continues to serve.
